Sean, are you also using a PCIE USB expansion card? If not invest in one, can get ones with up to 7 inputs. They are a lot more reliable/stable in comparison to a powered USB hub, also means buying multiple extension cables depending how close your PC is. Worth it to run the main sim gear on there, wheel, pedals etc.

i would give the advice of going with PC, and start with older sims.. RBR, GTR2, RF etc.. there is tons of free modded content that will keep you occupied for months on end. you wont have the graphics of modern games, but these games can run on any pre existing computer most people already have. single screen 1080p in the 32-40 inch range is also fine. look on the used market instead for quality hardware.

I thought the grips were a bit thin at first impression. After driving with it for some time, I found that I prefer these grips and ergonomics over my other more expensive wheels. I've sold some of my other more expensive wheels as I simply stopped using them after this build. I have high praise for PE. I had issues with the PCB, only to find out I did some thing wrong. Support responded quickly and we were able to identify the issue (user error).

So I ended up using the other Springs the black and white one I screwed my other my gas spring into the black one kind of mended them together and use that for more tension I did the same thing with the clutch I use the initial Silver Spring and then screwed the white spring near the bottom of it and it gives it more tension try it out

I feel you. I recently did a re install. It took me three weeks to get all of my sims setup to where I need them to be. Not something In in a hurry to repeat.

It still needs lots of work, but the base is there. And the love they poured into this is also there. If you look in the lmp2 cockpits, the track map above the driver's head changes with every track. Tbh i've never seen that one before.

13 to 16 inch is common usage among drivers in NASCAR its mostly due to preference, you want big wheel for ovals and smaller wheel for road racing

The shifter is noisy and bounces around like a crazy pig in SQ mode

i have a few PE wheels and i love building them. i like that we have the option to either build it on a budget or bling it out. i 3d printed the body and shifters but i bought the aluminum knobs and button plate. i to wish simhub would recognize the PE wheels natively. the simhub dev said if PE added a different encoder, or something like that, it would work. so its more hardware related that something needs to be added.

The fact that Mad Mike used this exact model in his (real) McLaren drift car is a huge endorsement.

Thanks for this video. The Resize Racoon program worked great, but without your instructions I would have been lost. This was the first I've heard of it. I got VR working on American Truck Sim but the headset hurts my head if I where it more than about 30 mins. The triple screen is great. Thanks again.

0 reason they couldnt make this simhub compatible, if they end up doing this, it'd be on my buy list, but until then i'll have to look elsewhere

Really informative Shaun. It can seem daunting at first when you think of the outlay but I recall back to when I started getting into it and where I am now and most bits I started with have been replaced at least once. It can be a money pit but its an enjoyable money pit and one I have spend many hundreds of hours, probably thousands on over the last 12 years.
